  • Santa Claus, St. Nicholas, Santa Claus, Dear Santa, Hey Big Red. . . DOESN'T ANYONE ELSE EVER GET MAIL AROUND HERE??   How come the only mail I get is addressed to Occupant or Current Resident?!   Everyone thinks Santa is the Big Cheese around here.  Well, let me tell you something. . . . without us, Santa’s nothin' . Trouble begins in Toyland when Blitzen develops a very bad attitude.  It seems he isn't quite up to the two-a-days Santa has planned for the reindeer.  Besides, Santa seems to get all the credit!  After a quick look at the mail, most of which is addressed to "you know who", Blitzen organizes and leads the other reindeer in a strike against the North Pole and its Big Boss.  Twink and the other elves desperately try to change the stubborn reindeer's minds, reminding them that  Christmas is a team effort and what is important is the children!!  When Blitz walks in with the list of grievances, Santa tenderly reminds him that true happiness comes from giving to others, not from taking all the credit.  Why, without Blitz and the reindeer, and Mrs. Claus, and Leonardo and the other elves, Santa could never bring joy to all those children's little faces.  He reminds Blitzen of Mother Teresa who wrote, "We can do no great things, only small things with great love".  With that, Blitzen tears up the list of grievances and Santa whistles for the other reindeer to "Hurry, the children are waiting!". Characters:  Santa, the elves:  Mick, Leonardo, Twink; the Reindeer:  Blitzen, Donner, Comet, Cupid, Rudolph, Prancer; Mrs. C., and the "extras"--the other reindeer, other elves, and the optional Nativity characters. Time:  With singing groups between the scenes, allow one hour!

  • Seven Cities. . . Tens of thousands of merry music makers. . . One shimmering spectacle . . . Coming soon! Another round of auditions right here at the North Pole, the HO – HO – HO – Home of the original Rock’n Roll Christmas! All the girls know that Merrie Mistletoe is a sure bet to win the Shimmering Star Search auditions.  That is except Merrie herself.  Then there are those cocky reindeer—CoCo and his band, the Peppermints.   So smug and cool, they are so sure that they have this contest tied up with a bright red bow.  After much persuasion by Cinnamon and her little elf cronies, Merrie finally agrees to perform. . . .Hosted by the suave Ryan Starcrest (and assisted by that eternal teenager, Dick “Deck the Halls” Clark), the contest is judged by who else, but Paula Poinsettia, Simon Snowflake, and Randy Jingles. At just the moment of the big announcement, Simon pops off one too many times and Randy gets nose to nose with him, inviting him to “take it outside.”  Jingle bells interrupt the moment when a surprise visitor, the Merry ol’ Elf himself, comes out of the audience onto the Shimmering Star Search stage.   Santa give both cast and contestants a good scolding-- reminding them that Christmas isn’t about demanding star power, but about offering our gifts in service and love.  All ends well when CoCo invites them all to a big caroling party and asks Merrie and her girls to join him and the band in a rousing duet of “Jingle Bells.” Characters:   The elves:  Cinnamon, Merrie Mistletoe, Maxie, and Sprinkles The Reindeer:  Vixen, CoCo, and Rudy The Shimmering Star Search Regulars:  Ryan Starcrest, Simon Snowflake, Paula Poinsettia, Randy Jingles Others:  Dick Clark, Santa Claus, Crew Member, and Director The "extras"--Groupies of the Band, and the optional Nativity characters. • Christmas, Christmas.. . My computer cannot seem to make sense of this humanoid holiday.  Keep your spatial antennae wired, Yazz.  We must find out more! Tired of the same old galaxy hip hop, Yazz and Nog scan the airways for something different when they intercept what they think is Tango music coming from the Andromedas.  When their computer pinpoints Earth as the source of the strange phenomenon, they decide to beam down to the galatically inferior planet and see just what is going on.  There, they encounter a little girl named Mindi, who, along with her family, introduce them to their first American Christmas. The Yuletide, seen through the eyes of the "cool dude" Yazz and the very proper, intellectual Nog, will entertain and delight your audience!  Two endings are available--a traditional Nativity ending or an optional ending--both by way of the aliens' old time traveler. Characters:  Yazz, Nog, Santa, Mindi, Ryan, Mom, and Dad and "extras"--elves and other children, plus optional nativity characters Time:  With a singing group between the scenes, allow one hour!

  • Yea, sure, when Santa Claus gets your letter--why, half of them don’t even write me letters anymore. They just tweet me their Christmas lists from their iPhones. These kids today are too sophisticated for an old man in a red and white suit. These merry dimples and this jelly belly are definitely out! Oh, and the stump of this old pipe--why, it keeps me out of all the public places in town."   With that, Santa decides he will shed his old image.  He gives up the "stump of his pipe" and the classic red suit and trades them for some slick duds and a new Harley (who uses reindeer anymore?)  No longer is he recognized as "Mr. C" though, and instead of the adoring looks of children waiting to sit on his lap, he is met with stares of disbelief!   Mrs. C. and the elves are at their lowest point when they sing that old tune "Leader of the Pack" (revised words included in script).  Finally, not wanting to lose his biggest fans, the children, Santa hurriedly does a quick change back into the ol' red and white.  He loosens his belt and calls for his reindeer just in time to board his sleigh!! Characters:  Santa, the elves:  Mitzi, Fritz, and Sassy; the reindeer: Vixen, Rudolph, Mrs. C, and "extras"--the other seven reindeer, plus the optional Nativity characters Time:  With singing groups between each scene, allow one hour!

Confusion stirs the air of Santa’s workshop as Elvin and the other elves try to smooth out a master list that is in disarray, while the reindeer keep grumbling about who gets to take the lead this year.  After a phone call promising technical help, a couple of geeky and bossy computer nerds named Harold and Irene arrive at the Pole, bearing boxes of computers, smart phones, and GPS trackers.  Things look very promising until Santa discovers that NO ONE is getting any work done!  It seems one of his elves, Bernie, has fallen in love with Siri on his smartphone, while his beloved Mrs. C is burning her famous cookies because she is suddenly captivated with her newfound Facebook friends.  Finally everything comes to a standstill when a mega snowstorm hits, and the wireless signal is lost.   The Nerd Herd (teacher/staff special performers) comes in to help, and Santa calls a HALT to this newfangled way of doing things.
